Glaciers are critical indicators of climate change. This talk will summarize my recent and current research projects based in the Nepal Himalayas and the mountains of western Canada, with a focus on the use of satellites and unmanned air vehicle (UAV) technologies to examine glacier change. I will also examine past, present, and future projections of glacier change, and discuss what these changes mean on local, regional, and global scales.
